Jim Gibbons, Chairman
Jim Gibbons has been a member of the Stanford University faculty since 1957. He was Dean of the School of Engineering from 1984-1996 and Special Counsel to the Stanford President for Industry Relations from 1996-2000. Jim sits on the board of Cisco Systems and is executive vice chairman of the Board of the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). He is also on the boards of several start-up companies.

Apurv Bagri
The Hon. Mr. Apurv Bagri is Managing Director of the Metdist Ltd. group of companies in the international non-ferrous trade and industry. He is a member of the British Invisibles South Asia Committee and vice chairman of the International Wrought Copper Council. Amongst his non-business responsibilities, he is a Commissioner of the Crown Estate Paving Commission, is on the Executive Committee of Asia House, is a member of the Governing Body and Chair of the Asia Pacific Board of the London Business School, and a member of the Governing Council of the City University, London.

Richard L. Harris
Rich Harris led the creation of RedShift Ventures in the Spring of 2006. Mr. Harris currently serves on the board of directors of several RedShift portfolio companies including ProtoStar, DigitalBridge Communications, Lamina Lighting, Nextreme and VBrick. Rich has worked with a number of successful technology companies, including Cronos Integrated Microsystems (acquired by JDS Uniphase), MDLinx (acquired by a division of Sony) and Woodwind Communications (acquired by Vina Technologies).

Rich received his B.A. in Economics from Denison University, and both his M.B.A. in Finance and J.D. from University of Maryland, where he was awarded the James E. Dingman Scholarship in Entrepreneurship and served as associate editor of The Business Lawyer. In his spare time, Rich is an avid cyclist.

William Quigley
William Quigley joined Clearstone in February 1999 and focuses on Clearstone's communications investments. His investments are centered around three broad themes: lowering the cost of delivering data and voice services, reducing the manufacturing costs of communications components and enabling the delivery of value added services. William joined Clearstone Venture Partners from Mid-Atlantic Venture Funds, where he invested in early stage communications companies targeting the software, equipment and service sectors. At MAVF, he was responsible for investments in Integrated Chipware, a real time embedded OS developer, Wisor Telecom, an OSS vendor to telecom service providers and NexTone Communications, a manufacturer of voiceover IP equipment.

William received his MBA, with distinction, from Harvard Business School, and holds a BS, with honors, from the University of Southern California. He is a Kauffman Fellow.

Phil Dur
Phil Dur joined Investor Growth Capital's Menlo Park office as a Senior Associate with the IT team focusing on software and technology services investment opportunities. Prior to joining IGC, Phil spent four and a half years with Morgan Stanley Venture Partners where he was responsible for sourcing and executing investments in later stage technology companies. Phil also spent two years before joining MSVP with Morgan Stanley Capital Partners focusing on investments in software, data communications, media, and specialty manufacturing for the $1.8 billion private equity fund.

Phil earned an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2001 and a BA in Political Economy from Princeton University in 1995. Phil currently serves as a Director on the Board of ID Analytics, InQuira, Visiprise and Venda and is also a Board observer at ePAC, ForeSee Results, Mindjet and Siperian. 

Chris Ragot
Chris joined Novariant in August 2010 as President and Chief Executive Officer. He was most recently the President and CEO for Freightcar America, Inc. where he led the company through multiple business cycles while consistently improving profit margins, customer satisfaction and delivery times. Chris has spent most of his career in the capital equipment industry, including senior management positions with Terex Corporation and Ingersoll-Rand Company. Chris graduated Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and received a masters degree from The Johns Hopkins University.
